Frequently asked questions

Are the developer tools free?

Yes. JSON, XML, JWT decoding, Base64, URL encoding, hashing, CSV, YAML, and cron explanations are free and do not require an account.

Is pasted text uploaded?

No. Parsing, encoding, hashing, and conversion happen in your browser and are not sent to our servers.

Which hash algorithms are available?

SHA-256 is the default. You can also create SHA-384, SHA-512, or SHA-1 checksums.

How does CSV to JSON work?

The first row becomes the object keys. Each following row becomes one JSON object in an array. Quoted commas stay inside their cell.
