How to compare two texts
- Paste the original text.
- Paste the revised text.
- Click Compare. Removed lines are marked in red and added lines in green.
- Choose Text, Diff, or Patch, then download the file.
A minus marks a line that was removed. A plus marks a line that was added. Unchanged lines stay unmarked. Copy uses the same marked text. Download saves it as .txt, .diff, or .patch.

Does this compare words inside a line?
It compares whole lines. A changed line is shown as removed and then added.
